We have a winner 🏆 (and a close second place)
Good morning,
As per the subject line, we have a winner from last week’s poll.
(Yes, you figured it from the banner)
It’s Gratitude Journaling.
I must say, though, we had a tight race to the end. Gratitude and Wellness were not far behind.
We will cover both topics over time, but first, some housekeeping.
We have decided to release the Unbound Gratitude newsletter on Sunday afternoon. Feedback from our subscribers has pointed out that a Monday morning is difficult because of commitments. We are hoping the new Sunday delivery will resonate with you all.
The format of our newsletter will be replaced by a direct and meaningful format.
Our topic of the week, with a link to a deep dive. (Gratitude Journaling being our first subject)
Gratitude Gems, prompts and affirmations.
Conversation corner or Community Stories.
A link to last week’s deep dive.
Each of the above section will be shorter, but more to the point.
Gratitude Journaling
There is a ton of literature out there on why Gratitude Journaling is effective. But, for some reason, there isn’t much about how to gratitude journal.
That is what this campaign is going to focus on, the how, with a touch of the why.
Our first episode, starting on Sunday, will look at…routines. (say what? That came out of the blue!)
Recognising our routines is the first step to making journaling part of your everyday lives. But don’t worry, it’s not about completely changing your routine, it’s about finding out what journaling works for you within your routine.
More this Sunday!
“Through gratitude journaling, I invite more positivity and peace into my heart and mind.”
Conversation Corner
‘I’ve been feeling overwhelmed lately. I heard you mentioning gratitude journaling once. Do you think it could help?’ Lucy said.
‘Definitely, Lucy. When I started my gratitude journal, I was going through a rough patch. Focusing on gratitude helped me find peace in those turbulent times,’ Norman said.
‘Really? How did you find things to be grateful for when things were tough?’
‘It wasn’t easy at first, but I started with the basics. Some days, I was just grateful for having a roof over my head or the support of friends like you.’
‘That makes sense. Sometimes, I forget to appreciate these fundamental things,’ Lucy said.
